Radiotherapy is a method where radiation is used to eliminate the tumour in patients with cancer. The Radiotherapy Programme educates competent and responsible prospective technical professionals who administer and facilitate radiotherapy and are able to use the devices which ensure treatment success.
Radiotherapy technologists are the health professionals who administer the radiotherapy in the patients in accordance with the diagnosis of the radiation oncologists and the treatment plan drawn up by the radiation oncologists and medical physicists.
The duration of the Programme is two years. The Programme offers Turkish-medium instruction. English Preparatory Programme is offered optionally.
