The Department of Industrial Design aims to educate inquiring and investigative prospective designers with high communication skills who follow the latest developments in the world, have teamwork skills, and are open to multidisciplinary collaboration.
An Industrial Designer designs any kind of goods and things which improve people’s daily comfort and quality of life and are manufactured using industrial processes.
An Industrial Designer creates aesthetical and logical solutions using creative thinking skills, and in doing so considers the user needs and expectations, production processes, product identity, social norms, consequences of global interaction, and different aspects of sustainability.
This is a 4-year Programme and the medium of instruction is English. English Preparatory Programme is compulsory. If they pass the Placement and Proficiency Test, admitted students can be exempted from the English Preparatory Programme and proceed to the first year of their Department.
