Residence Permit

A residence permit is a legal document that foreign national students must apply for if they wish to continue staying in Turkey after their visa or visa exemption period expires.

It is a legal requirement for every foreign national student who will study in Turkey to apply for a student residence permit.

Foreign national students coming from countries without visa requirements must apply for a residence permit within the visa exemption period. Those who entered Turkey with a visa must apply for a residence permit within 10 days from the expiration date of their visa.

Blue card holders do not need to obtain a residence permit.

• Submission of Residence Permit Document to the University

After obtaining or renewing your residence permit, it is mandatory to submit a copy of your residence permit card to the University. You can deliver your residence permit information in person to the Student Affairs Directorate or send it via your Beykent University student email address to oidb@beykent.edu.tr.
