 Application Requirements for Associate's and Bachelor's Degree Programs

International students who are in their final year of high school or have graduated from high school can can apply to our university's international student quota. Please click here to apply.

Additionally, candidates who meet the following conditions can also apply to our international student quota:

• Foreign national students

• Students who meet the citizenship status criteria outlined below:

   - Those who acquired Turkish citizenship by birth and have been granted permission by the Ministry of Interior to renounce their citizenship, including their children.

   - Individuals who have applied to renounce Turkish citizenship.

   - Those possessing documents confirming rights granted under Law No. 5203.

   - Individuals with dual citizenship who later acquired Turkish citizenship.

   - Turkish citizens who completed at least the last three years of their secondary education outside of Northern Cyprus in an institution other than the TRNC.

   - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) citizens who reside in the TRNC, completed their secondary education there, and hold GCE A-Level examination results.

Required Documents for Online Application:

1) Officially certified English or Turkish translation of high school diploma from the relevant country's embassy or notary (If the applicant has not graduated yet, an official letter from the school principal confirming their status as a final year high school student),

2) Transcript,

3) Official identification document (Turkish ID card or Blue Card (if applicable)) or passport showing the identity information page (including the visa page if applicable),

4) Official exam result document for high school graduation exams (such as Abitur, International Baccalaureate, GCE, Tawjihi, etc.) approved by the Higher Education Council (YÖK) or university entrance exams taken within the last two years (such as SAT, etc.),

5) Turkish Proficiency Certificate at C1 Level for Medical and Dental Schools, and B2 Level for other Turkish Departments (Not required for those who completed their secondary education in Turkey in Turkish-medium institutions for at least the last three years),

6) Entry-exit documents for Turkish citizens and/or dual citizens who completed their high school education abroad.

 Documents Required for Final Registration:

During registration, candidates are required to submit the following documents in addition to the originals and translations of the documents they provided during application:

a) Apostilled original high school diploma from the relevant country's Turkish Embassy or Consulate, or if the high school diploma is not yet available, an apostilled provisional graduation certificate.

b) Copy of passport.

c) Additional documents as required by the university based on the nature of the applied associate's or bachelor's program.

d) 4 colored passport-size photographs.

e) For foreign national candidates residing abroad, an "Educational Legitimation Visa" obtained from the Turkish Consulate in their country (or the nearest consulate if unavailable in their country).

f) Equivalency Certificate.*

Note:

Even if registration is conducted without an equivalency certificate, students must submit their equivalency documents to the Student Affairs Department before graduation. Otherwise, graduation procedures will not be completed.

*The equivalency certificate confirms that the student's education in their country is equivalent to a secondary education diploma in Turkey. **Accepted foreign language proficiency exam results are as follows: TOEFL (IBT) 90, PTE Academic 75, CPE C, CAE A, TORFL 84, YDS 75. Candidates may also take the Istanbul Beykent University English Proficiency Exam during the registration process if they wish. For candidates applying to Turkish-medium programs, proof of Turkish proficiency can be demonstrated with TÖMER exam results. According to the regulations of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), registrations for associate's and bachelor's programs are accepted only in the fall semester.
